Any biologist will tell you that a rhino is an odd-toed ungulate. We haven’t spent too much time staring at rhino toes, but we don’t recall them being that unusual. We have spent plenty of time watching them at the zoo and their tranquil nature really puts at peace. With this print, you can bring a little bit of that serenity into your home.

Reduction linocut prints are made by consecutively hand carving each color “image” onto the same linoleum block, printing each color between carvings to build the final image. This reductive process creates a limited edition print, that once printed cannot be duplicated with the same linoleum block, for this reason, they are numbered.

This is an edition of 10, printed on an 8” x 10” sheet of acid free, lightweight printmaking paper with non-toxic polymerized vegetable oil inks.
