Scurvy! Who needs it, right? Not us. We keep it at bay with a healthy diet of citrus: oranges, lemons and limes. We even double down and pair them with germ-killing alcohol. Forget the apple; a gin and tonic a day keeps our doctor away.
Linocut prints are made by individually hand carving each color “image” onto a linoleum block. For this print, that is one each for orange, yellow, green and black. Then each color block is coated with ink and pressed onto the paper, allowing time for each to dry before moving to the next color.
Printed on an 8” x 10” sheet of acid free, lightweight printmaking paper with non-toxic polymerized vegetable oil inks. The frame is ash with milk paint.
