One of the most essential tools in the Middlegoat workshop is the mallet. Throughout the workday it is put to hand for a multitude of uses, but after the workday it serves one more crucial task, crushing ice.

When a drink calls for crushed ice, this mallet is ready for the job, simply fill the included Lewis bag with ice and go to town. Not only do you get crushed ice, but you can also get a little stress relief or a good show for dinner guests.

This handmade traditional joiners mallet, based on a Roy Underhill design, has a walnut head and elm handle. The Lewis bag is made of canvas.
