Who doesn’t like a beetle? They occupy that safe space somewhere between the revolting cockroach and the fear inducing spider, but maybe not quite as cuddly as a ladybug. We are no entomologists but it is our understanding that they are good to have in the garden, providing pest and weed control. Still, they are a little hard to manage in the house, so we will just stick to this print for the indoors.
Linocut prints are made by individually hand carving an “image” onto a linoleum block. Then the block is coated with ink and pressed onto the paper.
Printed on an 8” x 10” sheet of acid free, lightweight printmaking paper with non-toxic polymerized vegetable oil ink.
